Filipinos lose about 188 hours in traffic in their lifetime. That’s more than a week. We had an idea: what if Filipinos use this time stuck in traffic to get closer to love?

On Valentine’s Day 2023, Closeup partnered with JoyRide for a FREE blind date in the middle of traffic. Over 500+ people signed up for the event, and the chosen lucky couples enjoyed a date on Valentine’s Day. The couples got to chat, ask each other questions, and even sing carpool karaoke together.
